About the event
The Edinburgh Artists' Moving Image Festival shall take place over three days at the Edinburgh Filmhouse in Scotland, UK. We shall be showcasing the best and most interesting short films from emerging and leading artists. There shall be showcases of short films alongside talks and Q&As. Scotland is rapidly becoming a cultural centre for artists' moving image and this festival shall attract people from across the cultural world in Scotland.
We are looking to make our event as accessible as possible. We plan to add subtitles and captions for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. We also plan to create optional audio descriptions for those who are blind or partially sighted. We also plan to have BSL signers at talks and have all publications also printed in Braille. We are looking for sponsorship to be able to pay professionals to create subtitles and audio descriptions as well as Braille print and BSL signing. This will be an exciting opportunity to bring moving image to those who usually cannot access it.
