Our two-frontier project consists of two campaigns, both aiming at bringing people across the country together to heal the environment. My team will be holding a four-month long on-line event titled The Eco Contest, starting in mid March. Simultaneously, starting on Earth Day April 22, there will be an XFINITY special run across the country (with a reach of over 24.5 million homes) to help further promote our contest.

This grassroots style contest will allow people to submit and share their photos online showing what they are doing in their daily life to help heal and save the earth, the environment.
The objective is to promote the concept that we people have the power to start healing the environment ourselves without relying on the government, politicians, and corporations, and that we people must actively and consciously adopt environmentally friendly life styles before pushing the agenda politically.
Contestants will submit their photos with writing describing the small changes they are making in their everyday life to help save the earth, the environment. Contestants will be sharing their photos with their family members and peers on personal social media (including facebook, twitter, instagram). Small acts from each of us can greatly help heal the earth, this will be the motto we will try to spread.
Our ultimate goal is to propel the contest to go viral nationwide, with the first target of reaching 10,000 plus contestants submitting their photos during the initial four months of the contest.
At the conclusion of the contest, we will present a grand prize and consolations prizes to the winners, which will be announced in August of this year. Winner selections will be based on various criteria including creativity and practicality, to increase the chance of sharing photos, getting family and friends involved, etc.
XFINITY SPECIAL: The Sessions
To further promote our contest campaign, we are running an XFINITY on-demand special "The Sessions" for two months starting in April 22, on Earth day.
The Sessions is a lifestyle based TV show that centers around the hottest musical acts of past and present.
With a reach of over 24.5 million homes #XFINITYSessions can be seen in every Comcast home across the US.

On April 22, Earth Day, XFINITY will commence The Sesssions special featuring Brian Lee, a Seattle based singer songwriter of Americana genre. Brian Lee performs his melodic, Seattle rain drenched songs, heavily influenced by the concepts of environmental conservation, and inner soul searching in today's hi-technology oriented society. (The Sesisons special featuring Brian Lee will be advertising the aforementioned photo contest campaign as well.)
To promote Brian Lee's "The Sessions" special in advance, we are running a 3-minute long youtube promo video sampling a portion of Brian Lee's performance XFINITY special, leading up to Earth Day. We expect the youtube promo video to reach between 150k and 200k views by Earth Day.
