About the event

Eclectica is the Literary Committee of Techno Main, Salt Lake Kolkata and is one of the largest literary committees in Eastern India. Whilst literary fests have been a regular event in non-technical colleges, Techno Main Salt Lake comes up as the first face among the technical colleges hosting a fest of this grandeur.

Every year, Eclectica serves as a platform for a confluence of young literary artists expressing themselves under different events, and aims to intensify the zeal of all young minds for whom Literature is a passion.

We organized the following events in our most recent iteration of Eclectica Intra'22 conducted on 5th and 6th April respectively:

Offline events:

Five Feet Drop: Open Mic Event

Disputatio: Debate Event

XpressIT: Extempore event

XQuizzIT: QUIZ

Funzone : Wordle and UNO

Online events: 

Du-Coeur: Content writing event

Sketch o doodle: Sketching and designing event.

Back to rule the stage offline after 2 yrs, we are ready to unfurl the zeal in participants, as we plan to conduct our most hyped fest Eclectica'22 on 12th,13th and 14th May. The main fest will have the above mentioned events along with 2 additional events: Rapsody (Rap Battle event) and Eclectic Talks(Powerful talks by inspiring personalities)

The recently conducted intra event had a footfall of around 500 participants, and during our previous offline iteration we had over 700 participants and a footfall of nearly 5k students from all over India.

Srabasti Banerjee

This is Srabasti Banerjee, the outreach head of Team Eclectica, the official literary club of Techno Main Saltlake. Currently I am pursuing my btech in electronics engineering.Being an ardent follower of literature and art, I have been a part of the club for the last 3 years and I can assure you we as a team work hard to make our fest extremely successful. I myself has worked as a freelance writer for some years now and am passionate about our literary fest. Having you on board will be a matter of pride for me and my team.
