About the event
- ECET2 Providence will develop a diverse network of teacher leaders to collaborate; implementing innovative practices allowing teachers to meet the needs of all learners ensuring consistent progress and success.
- Coordinate with professional networks, community organizations, and local/national NGO’s to demonstrate how they can be utilized to enrich instruction, increase rigor, help students develop 21st Century Skills, or to engage students in real-world, hands-on learning.
- Conduct action research study throughout the year collecting data on teacher leaders successe and the effectiveness of tools/resources they acquired from ECET2 Providence and brought back to their schools to collaboratively implement with their colleagues.
Why should you sponsor?
Sponsors will be prominently visible to 200 attending teachers, who have been identified as leaders and innovators by their peers and building administrators to be change agents. By sponsoring this conference sponsors will be integral in elevating and celebrating excellent teaching and teachers in Providence, RI an inner city public school district where 80% of the student population receives free or reduced lunch and 24% receive ESL/Bilingual Educational Services.
