East Coast Elite Road Racing Team 2019,

Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States

  • About the event

East Coast Elite Racing is an ambitious joint venture between Hudson Valley Cycling, from New York, and Team Hampton Roads, from Virginia. It will include men and women from both teams ( as well as others throughout the East Coast) that commit to a full season racing schedule, and are at least Category 3, and eligible to participate in elite level races.  The team will travel almost weekly throughout the 2019 season to some of the largest events, from North Carolina to New York.

    Why should you sponsor?

The sport of cycling is one of the largest growing communities there is. In Hampton Roads alone, there is a social media cycling group of nearly 2,000 members. Your exposure to the cycling community is far more valuable than just the number of potential customers, but the purchasing power that they bring. Cycling and Triathlons are among the highest per capita income of any recreational sport, with most of the participants riding anywhere from $2,000-$12,000 valued bicycles.

WHY SPONSOR CYCLING The sport of cycling is one of the largest growing communities there is. SPONSOR OPPORTUNITY As a sponsor, your exposure will be among multiple venues and media: - On team jerseys, shorts, etc. during large, local group rides, and at large weekly race events consisting of hundreds to thousands of riders and spectators. Especially at races put on by ECE/THR - A large online/social media presence with regular sponsor shout outs, promotions, and general links after every race, as well as randomly - Opportunities for racers to assist at your own events, with bike clinics, maintenance instruction, group rides, and a general presence With an anticipated first year roster of around 10 racers, and the prospect of such a regional venture, and general “pro” appearance, the cost per rider will be an aggressive venture. Including: team kits, team bike frames, licensing, entry fees, and travel, it tends to hover around $2K-$3K per person. We are looking for a total assistance of $10,000. This is something that be divided up amongst multiple sponsors, on a Gold, Silver, Bronze sponsor level depending on budget, and desired exposure level, or an exclusive corporate sponsor where the team is actually “Team Company XYZ”
