Dusk to Dawn Relay Race,

About the event

Dusk to Dawn Relay Race is a team relay race held at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Tooele County, UT (approx. 2 hours from SLC). The relay consists of a 2-mile loop to be run from the hours of 9:02pm to 5:58am on June 21-22, 2019 (the night of a full moon and the summer solstice). Teams are made up of 4, 6, or 8 people, with an option to run solo (Ultra). The theme of the race is a hangout with friends, which is facilitated by a DJ, glowsticks, prize giveaways, events throughout the night, and booths at the staging area. A pancake breakfast will be held at the end of the event for runners and invited guests, with all proceeds going to the charity Run On. This charity supports disabled runners with wheelchairs and support people to enable them to participate in running events.

Why should you sponsor?

When you sponsor Dusk to Dawn Relay, you are not just sponsoring a single event. We have plans to do this event yearly, but also to take this event to many other places. Eventually this is going to be a nationwide race, with dozens of races throughout the country. You have the opportunity to get on early and enjoy this ride as we grow and expand.

You will also be supporting charity when you help to sponsor this event. $5 of every registration fee is going towards the charity Run On (runon.org). As you help us grow this race, we will have the opportunity to help out many people through this charity, and possibly others like it. Help us to help others by sponsoring our race and making the world a better place.

Finally, the whole point of our race is to bring people together and help them connect in a fun and exciting way. We want you to be part of this and to help local communities to come together and enjoy a fun event. Together we can build something special.

Andrew Stradley

We are Andrew and Matthew Stradley, two brothers who love running. We came up with the idea to do a race almost two years ago, and this is the final product. We are both born and raised in Utah, and currently both live there. 

Andrew has run 11 marathons and is a certified Athletic Trainer. He is excited about entering the race director world, and can't wait to see where this goes. He is married with 4 crazy kids.

Matthew has run 10 marathons and works in Human Resources in Salt Lake City. He is the backbone of the business side of the race. He is married with one little boy.

We are both just trying to bring the fun back to running, which is why we are organinzing this race. We want people to be able to come and enjoy running and enjoy being with each other.
