About the event

In the heart of Long Beach, California lives a drag community that is eager to promote your brand! 

Drag Factor is a brand-new, alternative Drag competition featuring the best of Southern California's drag talent! Each week, contestants will compete against one another, using their skills in sewing, dancing, lip syncing, and comedic chops to advance to each week! Drag Factor is a weekly event, taking place from April 6 through May 18, and it is hosted at a local queer-owned bar! 

Our audience consists of around 100-250 people per night, about 65% being gay men, and 35% queer-identifying women! Our audience is mainly Latino and White, between the ages of 21 and 45, who are regular drinkers. 

Each night consists of several rounds of Drag performances, which are judged by the hosts and audience, the night culminating in a head to head battle between the two performers who are deemed best of the night! In general, Drag competitions have received much attention and attendance, much in part to the success of VH1's Rupaul's Drag Race. This competition is guaranteed to bring in local audiences, as their favorite performers in Southern California are slated to perform in this competition!

In sponsoring our event, you will be acknowledged every night of the competition, and our contestants (as well as our judges) will consistently promote your brand on their own social media for the duration of the competition!

This is a great chance to support local queer artists, and in turn gain a loyal and growing fanbase among Latinx, Queer, and Drag communities!

Peter OShea

Nomi B is the titular Host of Drag Factor and has been a professional Drag queen for over 10 years! She has hosted shows all across California, in popular venues such as The Abbey West Hollywood, Precinct DTLA, Hamburger Mary's, and more! She has experience with creating private events, local competitions, and managing nightlife events with a high audience turnout (Audiences of 100-1,500). Nomi is a consumate professional, with an eye for detail and finetuning!

Moonshine is the co-host of Drag Factor, and has been working in nightlife for 4 years! She has toured internationally as a singer, performed all across California from San Francisco to Palm Springs, and has a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She has a passion for Theatre management and event planning, and is a crowd favorite!
