About the event

The Dorsey Alumni Masquerade is an event seeking to bring together prominent members of our alumni as an act of solidarity and for charity. Profits of the event will go towards a scholarship for disadvantaged, but exemplary current students of Dorsey High. The Masquerade will be held on Friday, June 26th 2015 at the Courtyard Marriott of Culver City. The event will feature a full course meal, drinks, live entertainment, DJ, photo booth, and prizes. The theme of this event is Classic Hollywood.

The event is hosted by the Dorsey High Class of 2005 Reunion Inc. (www.dhs2005reunion.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit seeking to reunite our diverse and talented alumni for a purpose; we are raising funds for our inaugural April McNeel Scholarship for Exemplary Students of our alma mater. Our school's demographic is comprised of mostly historically disadvantaged and low-income students of South Central Los Angeles. Our organization wants to ensure that our students excel post-high school and contribute to a self-sustaining community.
