Discrimination within the education system is prominent within the society, especially when it comes to students of a public university, the potential is often questioned resulting in creating a stigma in the society.
This event is Zenmcg's way of playing a role in tackling this issue, in which many hands will join together to show and prove that our institution or faculty should not define our potential, rather, our knowledge and skills should be taken into consideration first.
The purpose of this event is to spread awareness that an individual capabilities should not be determined through the institution he/she has opted for. Key characteristics like talent, passion, intellect and work ethic should be considered.
This event is especially meant for KU students due to the lack of resources and guidance made available to them. The seminar is meant to serve as a career counseling and motivational session to better guide students on how to approach the professional life after graduation and ensure their career growth.
We are doing so by inviting esteemed KU alumni with respected jobs in each field who have experienced what the world is actually like and have successfully grown and achieved milestones despite this bias.
The speakers will be highlighting the dos and don'ts of professional life and will provide avid counseling to ensure a successful career growth.
Sponsoring the event would prove the sponsors' dedication towards education and bettering the system that we currently have, a system which prioritizes and gives value to privatization and capitalism. The sponsor would have the chance to also enter into a longterm partnership with us, which would signify a genuine commitment catered to improving the system and correcting the wrongs of our society.
I am an individual who really believes that the Pakistani society holds a lot of potential and I want to play my part in ensuring that it is acknowledged.
