Empowerment Through Integration (ETI) is a Boston-based nonprofit that strives to change the narrative surrounding disability by empowering youth who are blind and visually impaired to be change makers in their societies.
This December 1, we are holding our Annual Vision Beyond Sight Gala. It is in the format of ‘dining in the dark,’ an interactive, blindfolded dining experience that aims to engage everyone in conversations surrounding identity and the role of preconceived identities in personal and professional interactions. The ultimate purpose is to put us all one step closer into building true, diverse and inclusive communities.
All proceeds from the gala contribute to our continued work with youth who are blind and visually impaired in Lebanon and Nicaragua!
The support from our sponsors are essential to our ability to fulfill our mission of empowering youth who are blind and visually impaired around the world, particularly the Middle East and Latin America--many who would not otherwise have similar opportunities. As a sponsor, you are making a great impact on a portion of the one billion people in the world with a disability!
ETI’s mission and programs are designed with the purpose of opening the door for youth to experience life and pursue their dreams with purpose and richness. We are invested in instilling confidence and teaching students how to build and follow their dreams, despite the many obstacles that they will face.
Because the support is so essential and appreciated, we are more than happy to acknowledge our supporters to our various stakeholders.
Hello and thank you for considering us, Empowerment Through Integration (ETI), as a potential organization to sponsor!
To give you a little information about myself, my name is Alexis Smith and I am the Development Director for ETI based in Boston, MA. I'm a recent graduate of Harvard University and since then, I have jumped right into public service and advocating for marginalized communities around the world, particularly persons with disabilities.
I am more than happy to answer any questions that you might have about ETI and sponsorship. :)
