About the event
Since 1988, Dignity Housing has worked to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in the city of Philadelphia. To date, we have served over 5,000 homeless families and individuals, helping rebuild their lives, and providing them with resources needed in order to become independent, productive members of the community. In our programs, graduates have become stable homeowners, pursued educational objectives, and accelerated their careers.
On Saturday, April 23, 2016, Dignity Housing is hosting a celebration to honor one of Philadelphia’s most important advocates for those living in poverty and homelessness, Executive Director, Beverly Roberts-Cruse. Beverly will be honored for her work toward alleviating poverty and homelessness through social program planning, public policy analysis, and advocacy. The event will introduce Dignity Housing’s new executive director to friends, supporters and donors. It will also act as a fundraiser for Dignity Housing’s programs and benefit homeless families and individuals in their progression toward economic and housing stability.
All tickets include: 3-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres, small plates & valet parking.
