About the event

Hello potential sponsors, my name is Emily Altamirano and I am apart of the Manvel High School National Honor Society. Recently, a former Manvel High school teachers son, Liam DeBerry, who is 9 years old was diagnosed with lymphoma, a kind of cancer. This is the first student-led fundraiser planned in the district and we want to make it a success. All profit made will be given to the DeBerry's to help in any way possible.

Mr.Deberry is such a kind and inspring teacher, he was able to turn any bad day around for any student. He made me a better researcher and writer, and I hope with this event we can repay him in a time of distress.

My name is Emily Altamirano! I have attended Manvel High School for the past 4 years, and I will be continuing my education at the University of Texas at Austin to major in environmental enginering. My friends and I have been working incredibly hard on this event to pull this off, and we hope you guys are intrested in helping out the Deberry family.
