About the event

This event is an all female artist concert. Which is looking to be held at hackney empire on the 6th march in celebration of ghanian independence.

These artist will be coming from ghana, nigeria and there will some uk afrobeats artist. All together we are looking to have around 6 or 7 artist. There will be 2 host 1 from ghana and a relatively new and upcoming host from the uk

This event is aimed mainly at ghanians as it is an event celebrating thier independence but everybody who loves afrobeats is welcomed to the event. 

The event is looking to begin at 8pm were we will have either a comedian or an upcoming artists to perform (giving them a platorm, so they can build up their fan base and reach more people) until 8:30pm. From 8;40pm the first artist will begine their set which will be around 20 minutes long and for 1 or 2 minutes between each set there will be a little dj interval just so it gives the next artist time to be prepared to come and rock the stage. The event is going to finish between 11- 11;30pm as we are still thinking about some other factors we can include to the concert to spice it up a bit maybe a dance performance or something to that effect.

This event is going to be an 18+ event all though it is a concert the venue does serve alcohol and people under 18 travelling at 11;30pm may not go well with parents. The event is targeted at men and women and those who love music most of the artist we will be havin g are popular with the younger age groups between 18-28. You would find that people are always looking for something to do on sundays although there are clubs that open on sunday, when you have work on monday morning. It isn't practical to go to the club. So something that is fun and excitent where you would still get the same vibes and energy but finishes at a reasonable time would be a better option.
