About the event

As refugee resettlement offices are closing down, left and right, we would like to stand firmly on the right side of history.

The International Rescue Committee has closed down several offices due to the current administration's policies.

The IRC's DC Metro office is symbolic given its proximity to the capitol. We want to make sure that this office remains open.

DC's Immigrant & Refugee Music Festival will donate a portion of ticket sales to the IRC's DC Metro office. 

The lineup will include internationally recognized artists who made their start in this region, such as, tabi Bonney and Chief Obi.

Why should you sponsor?

"The strength of the United States of America has always been rooted in the way we respond and lead in times of crisis." 

These were the opening words in a letter that was written to President Trump, regarding the refugee crisis.

Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Starbucks are just a few of the big-named companies that signed this letter as a commitment to welcoming refugees.

As a leader in your field, we would appreciate your support as we stand with the International Rescue Committee's DC Metro office, in solidarity.

Your message will not only resonated with the 3000+ attendees at Echostage on the day of the event, but it will be marketed to everyone in the DC, MD and VA region for an extended period.
