About our event
The project 'Danza nel Vento' is an international in event focused on the art of ballet and featuring among the best dancers in Europe. The Gala is unique in Sardinia and it builds on the longstanding tradition of the town of Santa Teresa Gallura in the field of dance. The existing dance school has seen several young generations undertaking dance classes over a life span of 40 years. The dance school , thanks to the toward looking approach of its founder, Rossella Cardo, has provided throughout the years occasions of social cohesion, cultural trips, training people since a young age to the importance of appreciating arts in all its form. The cast for the 2024 edition is currently being prepared and will be announced as soon as possible.
It is organised in a primary holiday destination, Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia, where the crystalline sea water, coupled with the magic color of the Mediterranean nature and the refreshing sea breeze provide for the perfect scenery to host such an event.
The event Danza nel Vento represents the summa of the vision of Rossella Cardo, who shows that even the most improbable things can be realized if embraced with focus, professionalism and persistence.
Amongst key artists we have hosted during the years, it is worth mentioning Daniil Simkin, Melissa Hamilton, Mayara Magri, Matthew Ball, Nicoletta Manni, Virna Toppi, just to name a few.
