About the event
The objective for Dance Your Pounds Off Fitness Expo is simple, to SAVE LIVES by spreading health education and showing the masses how fitness can be fun. In the U.S. 1/3 of adults are obese. Obesity is not the leading cause of dealth however obesity-related conditions including heart diseases, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer are leading preventable causes of dealth. Key word “preventable”. In a research done on New Years resolutions, the number 1 spot went to weight lose. In the same research statistics showed that less than 46% of those making those resolutions made it pass 6 months. Why is this information important, you ask? If healthy living is the way to prevent obesity according the Center of Disease Control and the number 1 resolution is weight lose it tells us, people want to save their lives but just may not know how. OR may just need a little help in doing it and Dance Your Pounds Off Expo will give them just that.

Dance Your Pounds Off Fitness expo will bring people out from
all walks of life around the country to one location with the same GOAL! The goal of “Choosing Life”! The Expo will empower people to get healthy and get fit for themselves first and for those they love secondly. This event will be a none stop fitness and fun event filled with fitness workshops, celebrity panel discussion, vendors, plus so much more; allowing people to see that fit can indeed be fun without the intimidation of the gym. Dance Your Pounds Off Fitness Expo will be bringing together the top experts in the health and fitness fields, doctors, nutrionists, trainers, special invited celebrities and guest, live dj, vendors, etc for an all day event. The event will focus on “LIVING” and not merely “EXISTING”- taking up space. It will have the revolving theme: In order to “live” the life you want, you have to be “alive”. It’s a NEW YEAR and we will ensure people are on the right track!
