About the event

The Crockett-Port Costa Farmers Market is a weekly community farmers market.  It  features local artisans, local farmers and local musicians.  Our Market services two communities, Crockett and Port Costa.

Why should you sponsor?

The Crockett-Port Costa Farmers Market was started out of necessity and requests from the Community.  This Market supports two communities that do not have a grocery store, bakery or butcher.   In order for us to continue through the end of the season, November, and have start up money for next year's Market we are in desparate need of fiancial support to pay County and State fees and Market expenses.

Without needed resourses we will be forced to quit the Market early this season and may not be able to return next year.

Norma Black

Norma Black and Julie Lyons are the Organizers of the Farmers Market.  Norma Black is a Legal Administrator for a boutique law firm in Berkeley.  She also is a community organizer and has sat on several Boards, The Crockett Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Revitilization and The Crockett Community Foundation.

 

Julie Lyons is a Real Estate Agent and was involved with the Revitilization Board of Downtown Vallejo.
