Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2022,

United Kingdom United Kingdom

  • About the event

Creativity and Wellbeing is a yearly festival which this year will be taking place between the 16th-22nd of May. The purpose of Creativity and Wellbeing week is to provide opportunities to spread awareness to people of all ages and backgrounds of the huge health benefits that can be gained from arts and cultural activities. The festival consists of a core schedule of curated and partnering events, but it also features hundreds of other events under the festival's umbrella.

This year we are partnering with organisations like the RHS, Breathe AHR, Southbank Centre, Liverpool Museums Group, Misery Collective, National Academy for Social Prescribing and 64 Million Artists to name but a few.

Our festival theme this year is 'Get Creative, Get Outdoors'  with an emphasis on nature, climate action, green social prescribing, inclusion in green space, built environments and heritage. In 2019 (pre-Covid!) we had over 50k attendees to events during our festival across the UK.

    Why should you sponsor?

Would love to commission any organisation that decides to sponsor us to promote the values of through our festival to our vast audience.

We always hope to reach as many people as possible with our festival. Pre Covid we had over 50k attendees to our events across the UK. Last year we were forced to run a smaller online festival as a consequence of the pandemic however still managed to receive significant engagement and to date, the week has had over 7 million impressions on social media.

We can provide media real estate in the form of inclusion in podcasts where we can interview you and your staff about wellbeing through creativity, and blog space on our website for your stories and reflections to be shared.

    Joshua West

London Arts and Health are the leading support sector organisation, advocate and expert for arts and health in London. We have numerous connections and relationships with other organisations that carry out similar work and often work collaboratively. We are a member-led organisation and have spent a lot of the past year talking and listening to our members. We have focused on digital solutions during the lockdown and explored ways of supporting a sector in crisis.

In the United Kingdom not enough is being done in order to highlight the benefits of arts can have to support those in need, for example, people who feel isolated and people with mental health issues are two groups of people who arts have been proven to have a positive impact upon but many people are unaware of this. Through our activities, we work to promote, develop and support the understanding of what the arts can do to contribute to a healthy society, in London and nationally, and by so doing to encourage the use of the arts in settings beyond the mainstream.
