Imagine, Savouring a Dish Inspired by Mona-Lisa!
You can think of many creative ingredients you could add to a dish, but the work of a fine artist is not one of them.
That’s is probably because it doesn’t taste that good.
An upcoming event in Vancouver is changing this on October 22 – 24, 2015.
Creative local chefs in Vancouver’s Top 20 Restaurants will be collaborating and competing with award winning international master chefs to come up with the most delicious recipes possible with one common ingredient, artworks by fine artists from all over the world:
No dish can be invented without having a hanging artwork as its primary source of inspiration.
Result is not just birth of beautiful and delicious dishes. It is also a new source of revenue for the participating artists.
This creative event is held by Connekt Resources Inc., a startup organization that bridges the gaps between industries through innovative collaboration opportunities. With its core values being, community-based, serving a purpose, and top quality; the founding force behind Connekt Resources is a dedicated and diverse team of creative, productive, and business minds who agree that effective cross-industry collaboration opportunities are 'the Alchemy' for civilization and the golden key to making new chapters happen.
Connekt Expo 2015 is held in partnership with the Italian Chamber of Commerce West and European Chamber of Commerce West, with proceeds shared with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
