ComicCon Lahore was first organized in March 2016 by a group of students from Lahore who are huge comic enthusiasts. Held under the banner of NUCES ACM Chapter’s Geek Week, ComicCon turned out to be the most successful and the most anticipated event of Geek Week 2016 on its first outing in Lahore.
ComicCon Lahore, as the name suggests, is an annual convention for fans of all kinds of entertainment, which include movies, TV Series, comic books, anime, games, and much more. With holding quiz trivia, video editing competitions, playing movie trailers, and placing movie posters all around, paving way towards the ultimate finale of costume riddled crowd and closing with competitions of best costumes, ComicCon Lahore is the most unique, and a never seen before event in Lahore and it will aim forward continuously over the course of time towards international recognition one day.
Being the first of its kind in Lahore, ComicCon Lahore was a very complicated, new, and unique idea for almost every person attending the event. No one knew what they were supposed to expect, but no one knew what a treat it was going to be for hardcore geek enthusiasts. The event got massively positive reception from the audience, each and every one going home with a heart full of joy.
With attendance going beyond 450, ComicCon Lahore had more than 50% attendance in the whole Geek Week 2016. There was a long awaited time for re-establishing the Geek in Geek Week, and ComicCon Lahore provided the perfect solution, with huge participation expected in the next iteration, with numbers going beyond 1000 being a stand-alone and independent event.
ComicCon Lahore is the most unique event by Nexus Events & PR, who are reknown all over the city for their high quality events.
With 10 unique, and entertaining events, the event is expected to have 1,000 participants, with the maximum number lying somewhere in between 1,500 and 2,000 participants.
About 95% of the audience at the event will be between the ages 10 to 25, giving the perfect opportunity to companies to reach out to the young generation of Pakistan.
Along with Lahore, there will be participants and guests from other cities, going even as far as Karachi, giving the perfect opportunity for local companies to reach out to other cities.
With guests with the likes of official Marvel Comics consultants, PixelArt (Pakistan pioneer and internationally reknown Gamin Academy)'s CEO and lots of local celbrities, the sponsoring brand's reach will be more than 1 million people on the social media by the endorsement of these celebrities, and guests.

My name is Adnan Khalid Shah, CEO of ComicCon Lahore. Comics, movies, and TV series are, and will be my passion and I want to share my love for the comic, movies and series with the rest of the world and establish a big following of these genres in Pakistan. I am not organizing this event for money, rather I am doing this to fulfill my wish to spread the comic book culture in Pakistan.
Like my team, I am in my senior year at FAST NU Lahore. I have organised a lot of events in my university in the past and aim to organize ComicCon Lahore every year starting from 2017.
