About the event

The idea for this event came about last May when Stacey Speranza, Heather Hudson and I, bonded over our passion for helping others, as well as our desire to give back to the community in our final year of high school. After meeting with many different charities and researching past fundraising events the moment we entered the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto, the three of us could not think of a better charity to raise money for. Healthcare is such an important part of all of our lives and Ronald McDonald helps children of all ages feel more at home even when they are miles away. The mission of RMHC is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Our goal is to come together this November to help those families to stay together. All the proceeds raised from our event will be going towards giving the gift of nights. Each night a family stays at the Ronald McDonald House it costs $150.00, however, there is only a small fee of $15.00 charged to the families. Our goal is to house a family for one month total. The date for our event is November 16th at Chateau Le Jardin and we are expecting 150 guests to be in attendance.

Anyone would be a marvelous sponsor for this event as they will not only be supporting an amazing cause but will be suporting a local initiaitive by three young students. We are truly trying to make a difference and hoep you can help us.
