SUMMARY

Colvon mobile nail salon is a nail salon (on wheels) coming to Los Angeles this November! We are celebrating our launch on November 14th in downtown Los Angeles with a special event for press, social media influencers, entrepreneurs and potential customers. The event is invite and guest list only, and we are expecting a turnout of about 200 people. Our nail truck will be on display, and the event will feature nail art by our team of professional nail technicians, specialty drinks, food (caterer TBD), and a live set by DJ Garcelle du Bois (who has DJ'd for clients such as H&M, Lanvin, Sephora, InStyle Magazine and more).

"Twenty five hundred square feet - left to your imagination.  Our space, used by many local artisans for private product show casings, retail pop ups, private events, rehearsals, ideal for photoshoots, as a film location, and art gallery has become the destination for many creatives in Downtown Los Angeles. 

Our studio, conveniently located on the ground floor, offers dramatic back drops, original trusses spanning 56' long, +20' ceiling heights, exposed brick walls, concrete slab, great natural light, and easy roll-in vehicle access.

We have invited major beauty and fashion influencers, local businesspeople and entrepreneurs, representatives from major publications, and more to this event. The audience will consist of women, business savvy people, and people in the beauty/fashion/entertainment industries.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

SUMMARY

Colvon is a Los Angeles-based nail salon (on wheels). The salon caters to the busy modern day woman by providing a nail salon experience that is convenient, quick and unique without sacrificing style, quality and cleanliness. By meeting customers where they are (their homes, their offices, their hang out spots), Colvon saves them time and energy while offering the same luxury and style as a brick and mortar salon. The salon offers all nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions and nail art.

DESIGN

Designed by Colvon’s founder, Emily Christina (with the help of interior design service Havenly), the interior of the salon boasts of a design that is eclectic, contemporary and elegant--featuring black and white patterns, pops of pale pink, and gold accents. The exterior of the truck is adorned with custom graphics by Los Angeles-based graphic designer Michelle Hanabusa (who has designed for many companies including Disney, BCBG, and currently AEG). The design is modern with elements of sophisticated glam --- featuring marble textures, metallic accents, and geometric shapes.

Not only is the salon beautiful, it is completely functional. The truck carries six seats that double as both manicure and pedicure stations. Other features of the salon include sinks, heater, air conditioner, speaker system, a built in autoclave for sanitation, a towel steamer, and even a petite bathroom! Additional amenities for customers include phone-charging stations at each chair, wifi, free snacks and beverages, and books for customers to browse through while waiting to receive services.

SERVICES

Colvon only uses top of the line products and works with some of Los Angeles’s most talented, licensed nail artists to ensure top quality services. Some of the brands that are used during services include OPI, CND, Shellac, Essie, Young Nails, Vetro, and Presto. The salon also offers natural and vegan options, including Bioseaweed and Ella + Mila.

Colvon focuses solely on nail services, and aims to provide the best quality nail services in a time-efficient and affordable manner. Colvon offers express services that can be completed in just 30 minutes--allowing the customers to be in and out and move on with their days.

Other services include manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, and acrylics with the option of adding nail art to either of these services from their extensive nail art menu. Their nail art menu is curated by their team of licensed nail technicians, and is updated frequently. It includes trendy, fashion-inspired, season-inspired nail art, as well as premium designs for nail art lovers. The company also collaborates with female artists to design custom nail sets that are exclusively available at Colvon. They find this initiative a great opportunity to empower and support the art of female artists in the community, as they get a commission on all sales of their nail art.
