Enjoy food trucks, drinking games, and fun contests…and of course, more beer!Aside from positive endorphins from the run, a slight buzz from the beer, and new best friends from the party, every participant will receive craft beer, an official Columbus Beer Run T-Shirt, and an entry to the Columbus Beer Run after party featuring music, dancing, contests, and fun.
All participants must be at least 21 years of age on the day of the event. Don’t drink and drive; ride shares and taxis will be available.

Dear Potential Sponsor,
This August, craft beer enthusiasts and runners of all levels from the greater Columbus area will visit historic Franklinton to take part in the Columbus Beer Run. This fun run encourages runners at all fitness levels to be active with the reward of delicious craft beer. It’s not about being the fastest, strongest, or most competitive, but being active. We are currently looking for sponsors and donations to ensure that The Columbus Beer Run is a huge success for every participant and our community.
Benefits of Sponsorship
According to Ryan Lamppa, an analyst for Running USA, roughly 200,000 people participated in non-traditional races (Fun Runs) in 2010. In 2014, the number of participants topped 4 million, almost doubling the number of those who ran in half or full marathons the same year. These numbers continue to grow as new and exciting fitness events are offered across the country. Studies also show that non-traditional events are more community based and fit into the modern movement to be and support more things local. Combine the draw of a community based fun run with the 5th fastest growing craft beer city in the country of Columbus, and you get a winning event that promotes community, craft beer, and fitness!
Fun Runs with the inclusion of craft beer have brought in nearly 90,000 entries across the country. Previous beer-centered races in Columbus have easily seen hundreds of partcipants.
You can position your business with an attractive demographic of young professionals, thrill seekers, fitness enthusiasts, and beer lovers.
Please know that in addition to advertising and promoting your business to several hundred runners, your generosity helps encourage an active and responsible lifestyle through the Columbus Beer and Fitness Fanatics, a non-profit group based in Columbus.
The Columbus Beer and Fitness Fanatics is a nonprofit organization registered in Ohio with the mission of promoting responsible life styles that involve active fitness and craft beer.
