About the event

Established in 2008, College Beach Weekend has been a tradition for students from colleges and universities surrounding the East Coast area to enjoy the Virginia Beach Oceanfront while celebrating accomplishments of their spring semester. The roots of College Beach Weekend started with a weekend of peaceful reunions until it became extremely popular with little to do. #CBW2016 [College Beach Weekend 2016] expects crowds of 30,000 - 40,000 over the course of the highly anticipated weekend and we are preparing a week of events for all individuals to engage in.

As the newly placed 2016 College Beach Weekend Committee, we plan to mold the culture at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront by providing an official program that will evolve in years to come. Presented by Team L.A.M.B. Social Organization and The Mid Atlantic College Group, we’re creating a positive environment for college students, alumni, and the community to experience a safe College Beach Weekend like no other.

Whether you’re a company with hopes of reaching a vast amount of college students from all over the United States or an advocacy group recruiting students to promote your mission, the 2016 College Beach Weekend is the place for you to cater to college students and graduates between the ages of 18 - 24. Aside from the great beach parties, fashion shows, and community service events, #CBW2016 attendees will experience their first #CBWConcert. #CBWConcert goers can take part of an evening with some of their favorite music artists and bands. The event’s producers, along with our volunteers and surrounding community, have worked very hard to create a fun and safe weekend like never before of great music and activities for #CBW2016 attendees. This year will mark the ninth year of the College Beach Weekend Initiative. In molding a tradition, the #CBW2016 will continue to evolve and will be better than the year before. We will continue adding new events, new opportunities, and new performers to interact with the crowds and make #CBW2016 a beach celebration to remember.
