    “NMMAA’s goal is to work hand in hand with reputable medical and legal organizations as well as other organizations to eradicate and lessen the number of medical malpractice incidents. Our goal is to produce a win-win situation on both sides.  It is simply us working together for the same cause. 

    Galveston,  March 7, 2016, -Scott Eldredge, President of the National Medical Malpractice Trial Lawyers Association, medical malpractice attorney and shareholder of Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., will be one of the top speakers at the 1st Code Blue Conference-Breaking the Code of Silence. Eldredge will address this year’s theme “Medical Malpractice and its Effect on America,” along with Mia St. John, National Spokesperson for NMMAA, professional boxer and mental health advocate, Dr. Paul Byrne, Medical Physician, JoAnne Doroshow, Executive Director, Center for Justice & Democracy, Mari Robinson, Executive Director, Texas Medical Board,  Athena Roe, Probate & Guardianship Attorney and Chip Wagar, Medical Malpractice Attorney.

     

    Registration is now open for the Conference, which will be hosted at the luxurious Hotel Galvez Resort & Spa, October 17-19, 2016. The non-partisan, nonprofit Code Blue Conference is Texas’s 1st event of its’ kind, hoping to attract thousands of attendees who will come together for two dynamic days to meet with professionals who are committed to the safety of patients as it relates to medical malpractice.

     

    Eldredge and the other speakers will share their experience and expertise on a range of topics including, legal climate, mental health, end of life decisions, advocacy, medical boards, and probate & guardianship.

    The Code Blue Conference-Breaking the Code of Silence is presented by The National Medical Malpractice Advocacy Association and co-hosted by Houston Peace & Justice Center.
