I am excited to share some great news with you! 

Students at my school are traveling on a fun and educational trip to Washington, DC, with Close Up Foundation, the nation’s leading non-profit, non-partisan civic education organization! 

On Close Up, I will have the chance to make my voice heard! I will not only experience all of DC’s monuments and memorials in a unique way, but I will also participate in hands-on activities such as a mock congress, small group workshops, and seminar discussions with DC insiders. I am also excited because I will get the chance to meet peers from across the country and learn from their experiences and backgrounds.
