About the event

As a proud ambassador for Beat, the UK’s leading charity supporting people with eating disorders, I will be promoting health and wellbeing during my journey, and also reach out to young women who struggle with anorexia and bulimia issues. I will be documenting the 7 Summits expeditions photographically and, upon completion of all climbs, will hold a special exhibition featuring images of the mountains from the expeditions. A high percentage of sales of photographs from the exhibition will be donated to Beat to continue the valuable support programs and resources it offers to people with eating disorders.

Alexandra is sponsored by Nuffield Health Gym where she trains five times a week for the upcoming expeditions. She is currently preparing for her next climb – Mt. Vinson in Antarctica in November 2014.

When she is not training for the expeditions, Alexandra is a permanent resident artist at South London’s leading gallery Canvas Wimbledon, amongst other galleries, where her sought after work is sold internationally as well as throughout the UK. In 2013 she won the Berghaus mountain photography award.

In order for Alexandra to achieve her goal, she requires ongoing financial support from enthusiastic and generous sponsors. Alexandra has self-funded deposits for Mt. Vinson, Antarctica climb, however she urgently needs further funding for the expedition:
