About the event
Cliftondale Elementary (old location) was a vital part of the Cliftondale community in south Fulton County of Atlanta, Georgia. There was a parent, teacher, and community feel like to other. Through social media, many of us have reconnected sharing priceless memories. We are gathering together for a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to recreate our favorite day, "Field Day" now as adults.
Why should you sponsor?
To support and help cherish a memory for ailing teachers who feel forgotten about from their student "familes". Many have already passed on and this is a way we can try to rekindle the spirit of community love the teachers provided for us so freely over 20 years ago.
Jamie DosterI am 44 years old and in school for a PhD in researc in UGA. I am the youngest of four that went through Cliftondale Elementary when it was open in the old location. Many of the students from the 60s, 70s and 80s are all my distant friends on Facebook and we loved the experience of growing up in a small community.
