  • About the event

    • Clarens Cultural Music Festival is one-day event that is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29 September 2018. On this day, we will host a Festival where attendees will enjoy performances by at least 10 cultural artists from the greater Free State and Lesotho.
    • This fun and family-friendly event is expected to attract more than 1,500 people to the area. This large-scale event will be held at Kgubetswana Stadium, Clarens, Free State. The event will include stages for performances, portable toilets, food trucks, merchandise vendors, and beverage stations.
    • Proceeds from Clarens Cultural Music Festival will assist Phaphama Youth Development and Itikeng Disability Centre in expanding their scope of work within Clarens. Additionally, Clarens Cultural Music Festival also will help the community by:
    • • Create jobs for local residents.

      • Boost tourism in the area by attracting visitors from throughout the country.

      • Pump revenue into the local community.

      • Provide a stage for local music acts to showcase their talent.

      • Bring the community together in one place and raise awareness to take part in youth development activities and to accept the people with disability within their communities.

    Ntsebe Mofokeng

    Ntsebe Mofokeng is the Founder of Phaphama Youth Development and Thusanang Care Group, he is also serving on as the board member of different other NGO’s.

     

    Growing up in a small town called Clarens in the Free State was ever easy for me and that has pushed me to dream beyond the borders of Clarens. Ntsebe Mofokeng is a NGO’s leadership, fundraising and facilitation consultant who believes in evolving times and strive for excellence. He is a renowned passionate motivational speaker and a team building facilitator who uses a combination of humour, an incredible stage presence, and his personal life experiences, Ntsebe has a unique command of attracting listeners to get clued to what he is delivering and challenge them to never cease believing in themselves and their abilities.

    Ntsebe straight from the heart, passion and high energy, motivates audience to step beyond their limitations and into greatness in many ways.

    Through his public appearances, Ntsebe effectively motivates, inspires and impacts more people each year. He pushes those who have lost hope and think too little about themselves to start dreaming and become pioneers of their lives. He motivates employees to see themselves growing in their field of expertise and also contributing more towards the vision and mission of the company. He believes that people should have a buy-in in the vision and mission of the company and by so doing they take ownership and run with the vision as if it is their own.

     

    Ntsebe give his speech to the correctional services to inspire the inmates to never stop dreaming and to master the art of forgiveness and tolerance. He is mainly used by the Schools and private companies including the local municipality.

     

    Mofokeng has been featured on SABC2 and ETV respectively to showcase his commendable work he is doing for the youth in the Free State.

     

    Mofokeng organizes an Annual Career Exhibition that sees over 1000 matriculants each year. And through his people’s skills and networking abilities he managed to facilitate bursaries for at least 5 students.

    He linked 25 young people to be trained as child and youth care workers and 20 more to be trained as tourism buddies.

     

    He recently started on hosting a Sesotho Comedy Night whereby he gives the Local Comedians a platform to showcase their talents. He is aspiring to have such event throughout Thabo Mofutsanyane District on annual basis.
