We are based in Tampa, Florida USA and are registered as a 501c3 not for profit with members spanning the globe from Ireland, Nederland’s, Spain, Greece and many other countries. Bringing the world’s cultures to the public, locally, nationally and around the globe. Our Krewe travels to events and parades globally unlike any traditional krewe, thus we are a traveling krewe. Locally, we participate in most of the major parades in Tampa Bay and into the Panhandle of Florida.

Europa is a coed krewe of corporate professionals. Membership is open to all, age 21 and over. Each member must be sponsored by a current member in good standing. Additionally, our members are background checked and are on probation for the first six months of membership. Each member pays their own travel expenses to events and is required to purchase their own costumes from a Krewe approved supplier.

The Krewe celebrates The Age of Discovery, also known as the Age of Exploration and the Great Navigation's, a period in European history from the early 15th century to the early 17th century. During this period, Europeans engaged in intensive exploration and early colonization of many parts of the world, establishing direct contact with the Americas and Oceania. Historians often refer to the Age of Discovery to mean the pioneering period of the Portuguese and Spanish long-distance maritime travels in search of alternative trade routes to the Indies. The contact between the “Old World” of Europe and the so-called “New World” of the Americas produced what is called the Colombian Exchange: the wide transfer of plants, animals, foods, and culture between the Eastern and Western hemispheres.
