About the event
We are small team of students associated with Methodist College Belfast. In October we will be travelling to New Delhi and working with a charity called Asha in the Kalkaji slum. We plan to run a charity event, with all money raised going directly to Asha. The charity works to better the lives of slumdwellers in India through a means of education and empowerment, with the aim of helping people escape the poverty. The event is aimed at Under 18s within the school and we aim to target upward of 100 participants. The event itself is a football tournament. The sponsor will be publicised on social media and at the event itself. The link to our Facebook page is below.
