About the event

Location: The Arcadian Court, Toronto ON

Overall goal/initiative for the event: To raise funds for production and distribution of future films which advocate, promote, and open up the conversation and awareness of Mental Health.

Think of it as an afterparty-esque fundraiser. Connect with great people, discuss mental health in a positive light, while sharing and listening to stories. There will be musical guests, a DJ, items to bid on, and a moderated panel discussion. Our goal is to have a great night, keep it light; all while discussing a heavy topic.

Why should you sponsor?

Mental health is a conversation that needs to widen -- and happen, first and foremost. People care about whether or not companies are socially conscious of the strains that effect 1 in 4 people (and therefore their customers AND employees), validate and support their experiences, and show that putting good representation first and foremost is at the front of their minds.

OUR MISSION

Simply put, we provide funding to movies that promote positive visibility and normalization of mental health. Our aim is to utilize our industry to create a platform for those who need it most by providing both the lens through which people first perceive that which they do not personally experience, as well as support the visibility to those who do. We ask ourselves: What if we were able to showcase how they experience the world, instead of simply mirroring how the world sees them? Who could that help? Would it make a difference for you?
