About the event

The current event being organised by myself and a partner (Adil) is currently on the basis of an Eid eve. Its a family fun day where stalls will be held for people that wish to purchase clothes or jewellery at last minute for the following day (Eid day). As well as clothing stalls, there will be food stalls and games stalls too for little children to enjoy their time as well.

In the meantime, Singers will be performing upon stage as well as other entertainers. 

The purpose for entertainment is to pull a wider crowd who will eventually end up purchasing something even though they did not intend to. This could include a full meal or even a little drink bottle.

Why should you sponsor?

We hope a sponsor will like our foundation of the event so far. We expect sponsors to support our event because we feel we are doing oour events for good causes which are totally non-profitable. We think everyone has a role to play as part of a society, this includes putting in time or money. If you have the time then you give your community time and if you have the money then you contribute money, It is all done to make your community a better place to live in.

We believe we can attract sponsors because through one event we offer so many opportunities. We give people the platform to advertise themselves without costing them a penny, we give people a stall to sell products from making their profit, we give the audience a chance to make the most out of their money, we give the sponsors a chance to reach certain people who may have never heard of them before and most importantly we give food to those who cant afford a slice of bread.

Sunehri Khan

My name is Sunehri Khan, I am 23 years old and currently self employed. I wish to start my own charity where i help feed the homeless in and around Luton, Bedfordshire. I have been through the homeless phase hence know what it feels like to not get proper food to eat in a while.

I wish to achieve my target by organising events such as family fun days. These can be summer fete's or family fun days on an evening before a religious day such as Eid or Christmas.

These family fun days consist of stall exhibitions, upcoming singers who are looking for a platform to be able to share their work amongst the audience, Drum players getting a chance to show off their talents and also dancers to show their portfolio.

We charge an entry fee to the audience before they enter, as little as £1 per person.

Money raised from sponsors, stalls being rented and entry fee will then be used to pay the artists their fee with the rest being contributed towards charity.

We aim to promote our sponsors where possible. This can be via leaflets, banners as well as through radio stations that work with us on the specific event.
