What better than an authentic Las Vegas feel to kick off a charity fundraiser? Gambling tables, performances, full buffet, and a fashion show are all just a part of this exquisite night. All proceeds will benefit Camp Sunshine. Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.

Camp Sunshine is the only program in the nation offered year-round with the distinction of having been designed to serve the entire family in a retreat model. The program is free of charge to families and includes on-site medical and psychosocial support. Bereavement sessions are also offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.

Our target audience is those ages 18-55. This is a family event but also geared towards couples and singles. The ticket price will be around $50. We are still searching for a venue but it will probably be held at The Meadow Club in Port Jefferson.  am currently working with local radio stations (106.1 BLI, 92.3 AMP, WALK 97.5, Z100 100.3, STAR 99.9, PARTY105 105.3) as well as local newspapers (patch.com and Newsday) to gain publicity for the event. High Rollers will be mentioned in these advertisements if approved by any radio station, and event flyers will be posted on both patch.com and Newsday. There will be approximately 300- 350 guests at the event in your target audience. Merrily Couture will be providing the fashion for the show as well.

There will be some national recognition for this event through Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The CEO, Mike Rotondo, was in attendance last year and plans on flying up from Atlanta to be there again. The event was promoted through them before the show and used in marketing materials after the show as well. This will be a great opportunity for you and for us and we hope you will choose to be a part of it.
