About the event

We raise money for blood cancer with events throughout the year and ultimately at our Winter Sports and Music Festival at Blue Mountain Resort on March 9th 2019 in Pennsylvania. It's become the Pocono's premier winter festival that includes original touring bands on 2 stages, art demos and interactive activities, ski and snowboard competitions, DJ's and Hip Hop artists on the snow, a huge raffle with thousands of dollars in prizes, a huge vendor village and much more. The event is for all ages and is family friendly. We conservatively expect between10-15K guests. Last year the event raised nearly $100K for blood cancer patients and research. 

We have the date set for March 9th, 2019 and we would love to have your company involved this year to help give back in the fight against blood cancer while increasing your brand's visibility and engaging thousands of skiers, snowboarders, and C4C supporters in the region. We have premium vendor space available for your team to join us and attached is our sponsorship packet with all the information about the event and different sponsor levels. In addition to everything in the packet, we are open to customizing the sponsorships to fit your marketing and philanthropic goals (we love getting creative!). 

Why should you sponsor?

Not only do we offer tremendous exposure on the mountain, but we are a non-profit committed to fighting blood cancer. Carve for Cancer Inc. seeks out the best and most promising doctors, researchers, and hospitals to make the greatest impact with our funds. In 2016, we began a partnership with Dr. Andrei Shustov and University of Washington, Medicine Advancement, where our donations have earned us membership in their Turner Society. Dr. Shustov is Associate Professor, Division of Hematology at UW Medicine, and Associate Member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He is doing groundbreaking work in the field of Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma which could impact the way ALL cancers are battled.
In addition to our partnership with medical research institutions, Carve for Cancer also launched the Live Like Brent Foundation to help blood cancer patients directly. In order to maximize our impact and benefit as many patients as possible, we have partnered with leading hospitals like St. Lukes Cancer Center, and Temple University’s Fox Chace Cancer Center. Patients at these hospitals now have access to funds to cover the unpredictable costs associated with fighting cancer.
OUR COMMITMENT
Carve for Cancer Inc. is a volunteer-run organization brought together by a common passion to help end the suffering associated with blood cancers. As such, you can always guarantee we are committed to making the money you entrust to us to go as far as possible. Of course, like any organization, we have limited overhead for things like producing events and spreading awareness. However, the vast majority of our funds raised will always directly impact cancer research and/or those suffering. When our founder, Brent Evans, started this organization he had one goal: to “Shred Blood Cancers.” This is, and always will be, what this organization seeks to accomplish.

Carve for Cancer has been around for many years now and has grown a reputation to generate true partnerships, not just one and done interactions. Almost all of our sponsors are repeat sponsors and for good reason. We seek out companies that fit our mission and try to find win-win opportunities to give our sponsors the best bang for their buck. Since we are all unpaid volunteers running the organization we ONLY have our mission and the goals of our supporters in mind and we hope to keep it that way.
