CarnEVIL is a community outreach event that provides unique opportunities to the youth homeless in our area. By partnering with our local non-profit, Our Ark, we are able to give them work experience and a way to be a part of the community in a fun and exciting way. In turn, we give a large portion of the profits to Our Ark to assist with providing continued support to homeless youth in the form of counseling, aid, job training, and other much needed resources. Our Ark works to successfully get youth off the streets so they can have a better future. Having these youth work with us and connect with the community assists in putting a face to our community members who have become homeless.
Your sponsorship dollars help to cover the costs of running this event so that our overall donation from profits can be significantly larger and do more good. In turn, the community will recognize your company as someone who cares about the ever growing homeless crisis. We are a woman owned, woman run, BIPOC owned, LGBTQ+ friendly, military spouse owned business that has been recognized for their service to community and their assistance in helping small businesses succeed in our community. Love Local Events was nominated for the Tourism Trailblazer Award and has a significant following in the South Sound. We have been featured in South Sound Magazine as well as other local news sources. We are a trusted resource for business and promotion within the surrounding communities. Working with Love Local Events will help get your name into local households using email marketing and social media, as well as local sports radio.
I am the owner and founder of Love Local Events LLC. Love Local began as a way to assist small businesses during the shut downs caused by covid in the state of Washington. At the time, I had a thriving small business that was considered essential. As I experienced prosperity, I noticed my fellow small business owners in the area that marketed at events to be struggling to stay afloat. I made the decision to open up my farm and hold market type events to help those small businesses succeed at a time when it was close to impossible to reach the public. This lead to partnering with non profits, entertainers and City officials. Since then, we have grown and moved to bigger venues and we'll attended events that reach over 4000 people a day and growing.
At the same time, I run a 2.5 acre homestead and am a mom and former military spouse. I have 4 amazing kids and 5 dogs.
This cause is very dear to me as I have an adopted daughter that spent the first 5 years of her life in foster care and suffers from childhood trauma. Many of our homeless youth have aged out of foster care of left severely abusive homes. I understand that what they're dealing with is more common than most people can imagine and they need more than just a food donation. They need connection and real support. Our Ark does that.
