About the event
Imagine your company giving the gift of speech to a child with autism and the joy your staff feels that a parent may hear their child say, “I love you” for the first time. 1 in 54 children in Utah has been diagnosed with autism and it is estimated that 1 in 4 children affected by autism are unable to speak. If you are motivated and excited about youth education and about making a lasting impact in your community, we have an amazing sponsorship opportunity for you.
The Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center Foundation focuses on raising money for the Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning. Our organization, founded in 1998, is not-for-profit and therefore we rely heavily on grants, sponsorship and a variety of support from our local business community. We are Utah’s leading Autism Center which offers an intensive learning experience for students with autism based on years of experience, research and monitoring by staff with outstanding expertise in autism and related developmental delays. To date, the Pingree Center has served over 2,000 students.
If you are motivated by community engagement and interested in making a lasting impact, you are an ideal sponsor for our annual Holiday Event event on December 9th, 2015. This event is not only tailored to raise money to provide each student with life changing communication technology and scholarships, it is an opportunity for you to come together, as a company, and see the impact you can have on your community. This sponsorship opportunity is unique in the fact that your company has the opportunity to get hands on involvement and will work directly with the students and families of the Pingree Center.
