Canada will be sending a team to the Underwater Hockey World Championships in Stellenbosch, South Africa, in April 2016. We will be sending both men and women's elite teams. To prepare for this, we are holding a training clinic in Guelph to further solidify our teamplay and use this opportunity to practice together. On the weekend of July 17th-19th we will be spending approximately 18 hours together to strategize and put our game plans into action. We are also welcoming players interested in trying out for the national team in years to come (developmental players). We are not paid athletes; we do this because we love it and we are eager to grow the sport by increasing exposure and competitiveness. For more info see http://www.cuga.org/index.php/en/
