About the event
Found in 2012, Canada International Model United Nations (CAIMUN) began with the idea of innovation and has developed to become one of the premier conferences in Western Canada, boasting an excellent and unique delegate experience. Taking a step further this year, we plan to provide the best possible conference quality to students worldwide by integrating exclusive committee choices and unique policies together in order to create an unforgettable experience for all 700+ participants.
Here at CAIMUN, there are boundless opportunities for ingenuity. We have set out to challenge attendees – be it a first time or veteran delegate – through a demand for critical thinking and diplomacy, stimulating innovative debates to represent the true essence of global politics.
This year, CAIMUN has taken a new look at the way we work with sponsors and we've revamped and rebuilt our sponsorship process in order to better serve your needs. In order for us to provide the best conference possible to the largest number of delegates possible, we need you help, and we know that we can provide an amazing marketing opportunity in return. All the sponsorship funds we receive go towards subsidizing the cost for students that cannot afford to come and lowering the cost for everyone else in order to make CAIMUN as accessible as possible.

With this sponsorship you will receive everything in the Silver Sponsor package as well as recognition at our closing ceremonies to all 700+ participants, a large banner or provided advertisement displayed at our social (dance) and our very popular "LAN Party" (online gaming competition). You will also receive a spot at our sponsor fair with a right to distribute merchandise and/or promotional material.

By choosing this level you will receive everything from the Gold Sponsorship package as well as select delegate contact information for future engagement, advertising in all our backgrounder guides (15 backgrounder guides in total) which are used by all 700+ participants as the main source of research. You will also receive a full page advertisement in our delegate handbook which is distributed to all participants at the beginning of the conference.

With this sponsorship level, you will not only receive everything in all the other sponsorship levels, but you will also have a banner, or provided advertisement, displayed during opening and closing ceremonies in front of over 700 participants, a promotional speech during opening and closing ceremonies, and printed advertisement on all delegate name tags and placards. Finally, you will also be able to sponsor a committee of your choice, meaning that advertisements will be displayed in that committee during the whole conference and your company name will be included in the committee's official name (ie: UNSC presented by "Company Name").
