Kenna and his team now set their sites on the show
which has been dubbed the biggest domestic "MMA show in the
last 10 years."

Cage Legacy brings home one of the island's favorite
sons and former UFC STAR "Stormin" Norman Parke in a pro lightweight bout
against Decky the Diamond Dalton married with four
other professional bouts in the TLT theatre Drogheda. A
fight that cannot be missed!

The close - knit Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) community in Ireland travel to each show religiously. Each Club knows each other like neighbours on a street. 

Sponsoring the event goes past the nearly sold out 1000 seater theatre on the outskirts of Ireland's second largest town. It supports local businesses in the area; pubs,nightclubs, cafés, hotels, and in marraige with this; Fighting for Autism.

 However, on the broader spectrum it opens a door to a market that has yet to be fully explored in Ireland.

Emmet Banahan, head of marketing, has seen that the MMA Market in Ireland has only focused towards a small group of people and has neglected the general Irish audience in terms of domestic shows, and products. However the general Irish audience (Male 18-24 years) travel in numbers to Conor McGregor's bouts abroad. One of Banahan's many goals for the event is to include and bring in a new audience to the domestic Irish shows in MMA.

Cage Legacy is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion
founded by Declan Kenna in 2016. Kenna, a MMA trainer,
a Jiu Jitsu blue belt turned promoter wanted to grow the
MMA community as well as bring home Ireland's best
Mixed Martial Artists and provide a platform for up and
coming Martial Artists.

Kenna's passion as a coach has brought him around
Europe with his brother Nathan "The Cobra" Kenna, who
he coached to win the European Bantamweight title this
year.

His coaching led him to be a trusted force within the MMA
community, matchmaking for various event; his latest
Cage Gladiator.

Kenna sees the market in Ireland for the fastest growing
sport in the world, MMA. In July this year, Kenna ran a
local show for up and coming fighters. The night dubbed
by martial art news company Fightstore Media as
'plentiful excitement' throughout.
