About the event

The presentation of ByeBuy

Since the financial crises of 2008, more and more of French people are looking for solutions to increase their buying power. A new trend appeared since then: some of us are selling or renting objects that are useless for them (for example: a second car, a drill etc...). Luxury goods are not lacking to this rule. However, there was, to this date, no real solutions dedicated to specifics luxury goods’resale. Yet, people who are selling their luxury goods, need to sell them quickly and that without having to wait for a potential buyer to decide.
We have decided to answer to this need by creating ByeBuy, the first platform for luxury goods’repurchase.

A method of repurchase easy and fast
On ByeBuy, the owners of luxury goods are proposing their article, via filling a form. If this article matches our selection of criteria, we buy it. The payment is made after the reception and expertise it, which will take less than 8 working days after the dispatch from the owner. ByeBuy is the fastest solution to sell his luxury good online.
The Xerfi Précepta’s Office, during a study dated July 2014, estimated the used luxury market to 300 million of Euros per year in France.

Exceptional private sales:
Exceptional parts are exclusively available to sale during our aftershows, BBFS, which are organized during the Fashion Week. Our BBFS are more than just sales. They are events where ByeBuy link luxury to gastronomy, in a modern mind but still premium. During these events, ByeBuy invites his prestigious guests and his best clients as well, to attend an exceptional fashion show where the most beautiful bags and accessories, from the most prestigious luxury houses, are honoured. The event ends with the selling of these exceptional parts, by the auctioneer, who is a partner of the event, and the donation check presentation to the charity partner.

ByeBuy Fashion Show, First Edition

This exceptional event will be held on October the 1st, 2015 in a place that is kept secret (on the way of the Fashion Week).
BBFS is a private event only accessible by invitation.
Part of the profits are donated to charities. For its first edition, Byebuy choose the association called Proxité. This association acts on the very heart of neighborhoods, in favour of educational and professional insertion for the youth, by offering them an individual backing with the help of active volunteers in the work world (More informations on: www.proxite.com).

21h-22h30 : Cocktail dinner offered by a rising chef from the French or Foreign gastronomy
22h30 : Fashion show: Presentation of the most beautiful luxury parts, proposed by ByeBuy.
23h : Auction
23h30 : Donation check presentation to our partner association: Proxité
23h45 - 2h: Musical evening animated by a Dj

Tickets:
The aftershow is only accessible with an invitation.
The access is free. However, the guests have the opportunity to make a donation of, at least, 500€, entirely donated to the association called Proxité through the website eventbrite.fr . This donation entitles them to a VIP invitation.
The VIP invitation is valid for 2 people: a car will come pick up the VIP and his guest at his home, a bottle of champagne in the car, red carpet on the arrival, first or second row seats of the fashion show.

A formal wear is required for this event.
