The festival has grown from 200 attendees to over 5,000 and features indie, hip-hop, DJ, and comedy acts culled from an open-submissions process. In our commitment to our community, ticket and drink prices have maintained competitively low despite a fluctuating economy. We pride ourselves on premium, accessible experiences for the budget set.

Our artists go on to grace the stages of SXSW & Coachella, (check out our alums The Dead Ships on this year's Coachella lineup, woot!), and our vendors & interactive partners go on to grab attention from major investors and retailers, (Sustainable backpack co Stone & Cloth, who vended at a much humbler version of the festival 4 years ago, are now stocked in Target stores nationwide).
Basically, we have a captive audience that is looking to celebrate all things LA, and the impressions built for brands & artists alike carries with them beyond the festival grounds.
Formerly known as BROKECHELLA, BROKE LA is the rebirth of Los Angeles’ favorite little-big festival. Now in its sixth year, the event is a showcase of the best music, art, tech, food, and vendors from LA and beyond. Many of our acts have gone on to perform at such esteemed concert events as SXSW and Coachella.
