Bring Your Own Dog (BYOD) Charity Event,

Franklin, Michigan, United States Franklin, Michigan, United States

  • About the event

Bring Your Own Dog (BYOD) is an annual pop-up charity dog park event in support of local dog shelters. This year, all proceeds will be donated to Detroit Dog Rescue! BYOD provides a day of food, fur, and fun including...
    - Activities, games, and prizes for kids, families, and pups
    - Free pet supply giveaways and information from local businesses
    - Contests and raffles to win doggy-care goody baskets
    - The opportunity for dogs to play in a no-leash zone and humans to meet new dog-enthusiasts
    - Treats for both humans and animals!

BYOD benefits a non-profit organization called Detroit Dog Rescue, Detroit's only no-kill shelter. All of the profits from BYOD go directly to DDR. Giving back to the community and supporting our fellow pups is very important to the members of BYOD, and we are glad the event has been able to make an impact for the past few years. Can't wait to see you there!

    Why should you sponsor?

Bring Your Own Dog was started in 2016 years ago by a small group of students from Bloomfield Hills High School. After three years of hard work, we are hosting out third annual charity pop-up dog park. In the past two year, we have had over 800 attendees, and raised over $2500 for the Michigan Humane Society. As a small non-profit, student lead organization, we need all the help we can get in order to host another succesful event in order to raise money and awareness for the K-9 community of Detroit, Michigan!
