October's theme is Social Media and How It Can Effectively Move Your Business Forward. The official name of this event is Brand Authenticity | Building Your Business Using Social Media.

Two AMAZING professional women from Detroit will give a presentation telling their story and sharing their insightful tips and tricks on the subject matter. There will be catered appetizers, beverages, and a SPECIAL treat. The atmosphere will be one of positivity, encouragement, insights, and community!

Why should you sponsor?

Future Females Detroit is the FIRST United States city to host a FF Chapter. This is huge for Future Females and support is needed to make this launch a successful kick off! Because this is our first event, we would really like to give a lot of the tickets away to better market the arrival of Future Females in Detroit. We need your help in order to do that. We want our events to be an experience for women, an experience that will fuel a fire within them that won't burn out! From the food, to aesthetics, to beverages, to the atomosphere! It takes a team to create an experience like this.

Future Females is a movement with a simple vision. The vision is to inspire more female entrepreneurs, and better support their success. Providing a platform digitally, physically and emotionally where women can connect, inspire and collaborate with each other, and access the resources they need to succeed.

This community of global women is expanding fast! Having only launched in August 2017, it now has a presence in 6 different countries. Future Females has a reach of over 80,000 women online with 200+ contributors who supports this mission.

There are currently 10 global chapters and counting such as: Berlin, Germany - London, UK - Brisbane, Australia - Cape Town, South Africa, etc. Future Females membership is at 9,000 and counting across the globe. Future Females community operates in line with five key values collaborative, inclusive, give first, community-driven, take action.

Just recently, Future Females launched their Business School and received 434 applications in under 10 days from inspiring entrepreneurs in 21 countries. That's major!

This is a movement that everyone can benefit from, when we help others win in the corporate world and in entreprenurship-we all win! But the specific wins for YOU is local and global exposure, strategic partnership, and community support from a bunch of powerful women!

Rya Hodges

I am Rya Hodges, the Detroit Ambassador for Future Females. I am an international trade analyst for one of top global trade compliance companies. I have my BA in international business and economics. 

I also have my own brand and business called RyAura, where I teach women how to live an intentional life. I'm passionate about connecting with other like-minded women and building community. My favorite pastime is reading or listening to thought-provoking podcast episodes.

I'm humbled to be able to contribute to the world in my own unique way and I plan to continue serving as a bridge between women and their dream life.
