  • About the event

Brainhack ATL is an Atlanta-based neuroscience hackathon focused on bringing together students, researchers, faculty, professionals, engineers, and scientists from a variety of fields and expertise to explore the multiple applications of neuroimaging tools from a cross-disciplinary perspective. Brainhack ATL 2019 is a collaborative effort between the neuroscience communities at Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and Emory University and is held in the new TReNDS center at Georgia State. This neuroscience hackathon is also part of a larger initiative, Brainhack Global, that is being held during the same time.  Brainhack ATL 2019 will take place from Wednesday, November 13 through Friday, November 15.

Brainhack ATL 2019 is a free 3-day hackathon, consisting of competitive project tracks that will have 60 participants working on computationally intensive projects to develop neuroimaging tools and apply machine learning to brain imaging data. The hackathon also allows participants to pitch their own project tracks for those who want to contribute to the hackathon in their own  way (e.g., through our “Pitch A Project” track). Food will be provided throughout the event and prizes will be awarded to the winning project teams.

    Why should you sponsor?

Through the sponsorship packages, sponsors would receive advertising and marketing benefits from the event through increased visibility. Additionally, the products of Brainhack ATL will be useful to many potential sponsors in the neuroimaging research industry. Our Brainhack ATL Project Tracks will be working on neuroimaging tools for the neuroscience community to use and will therefore be incredibly valuable to fund.
