Book Launch: A Tale of Two Rabbits,

The Malayan Council, Singapore, Singapore The Malayan Council, Singapore, Singapore

  • About the event

The book launch is H M Zain's debut bilingual children's book based on true events. Having taught for more than a decade, Zain is an aspiring author who dreams of changing the educational landscape in her country. She is an advocate of independent learning and think-out-of-the box educator who believes that children learn at their own pace and according to their own interests and will excel to their fullest potential with proper guidance by a teacher or an educator who has the child's interests at heart. A humanitarian always and an educator who loves reading, Zain is determined to teach the young generation that education is not just about completing worksheets and covering the syllabus but it goes deeper than that especially now in the age of the Internet and technology where information can be obtained at a click of the mouse. An educator who emphasises on character education and values driven lessons, this book will be a useful resource in teaching young children the meaning of life and the true value of friendship, love and care for one another be it humans or animals.

    Why should you sponsor?

A sponsor who has a similar mindset about education and love for animals will find my event a worthwhile collaboration as the book teaches not only the English and Malay language but also the concept of death in life and also values of friendship, family, care of animals and love for all God's creatures.

The event will be attended by not only students from a madrasah but also orphans who are especially invited to be in the audience when the author will have her storytelling session and reading of her debut book. Parents and teachers will also be in attendance and influential people in the education industry will be invited too.

Not only is this a book launch, it is also an event for networking opportunities and also a charitable cause as some of the proceeds from the things sold by auction during the event will be donated to the orphanage.

The book is also set to be released in 5 other cities in the world and may be translated into other languages like Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, French etc.
