About the event
This upcoming May, we will be hosting our 3rd annual festival featuring female-curated live music, visual art, and local vendors in a inclusive space for all members of the community. Every year, we donate a portion of our proceeds to different organizations working to aid women and communities worldwide. This year's event will be at the historical Catch One venue in Los Angeles.
Why should you sponsor?
As an organization, we aim to give up-and-coming musicians and artists a platform to showcase their talents. Boogiewoman creates a safe, fun, inclusive space for EVERYONE while also giving back to the community.
This year we are extremely excited to be partnering with our spotlight charity Elizabeth House (https://www.elizabethhouse.net/). Through shelter and lifelong support, Elizabeth House empowers homeless pregnant and parenting women in need to reclaim their lives and build successful family legacies. They understand the impact of generational cycles of trauma, homelessness, and abuse in the lives of the vulnerable women and children they serve. They believe change is possible, and they’ve supported hundreds of women as they find their voice and reach their potential.
Our previous events have generated significant funds for partners like Planned Parenthood, Downtown Women's Center and The Happie Hippie Foundation, but we are always striving to do more. In order to reach our donation goals, we need your assistance to cover operation costs, assuring that we can run the most successful event possible.
Fortunately, Boogiewoman Showcases now offers terrific sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who wish to partner with us in our mission: to showcase local art in every sense, donate proceeds to organizations aiding communities worldwide, and cultivate a creative and inclusive space for people from all walks of life. If you share our goals and wish to help, please consider sponsoring our event.
The Boogiewoman team is a group of young individuals who are passionate about giving back to the community and giving up-and-coming musicians/artists a platform to showcase their work. The team volunteers their skills and time in order to make these events possible.
