Do you always look out for the alt/dark/spooky-cute/goth/emo stall at the market? Wish there was an event made up entirely of those kinds of vendors? Welcome to Boo Fest, you've found your people.

We're gathering the misfits and the morbid, the cult fans of the cute and the most oddly originals all in one place. Boo Fest Halloween this year will be an 18+ After Dark event to celebrate our favourite spooky day of the year.

Boo Fest is an artist run initiative to celebrate Alternative artists and makers here in Naarm/Melbourne and across Australia. Our mission is to foster a strong and connected community that provides peer support while delivering an exciting and inclusive event for both artists, vendors, and attendees.

Event Details:

Boo Fest Medi-Evil Halloween 2026
**Now an 18+ After Dark Artist Market

Friday October 23, 2026
Market Hours: 4pm - 9pm

Bump in: from 2pm
Bump out: from 9pm

Theme:
The theme will be Medi-EVIL. Descend into the dungeon with only a sputtering torch and the scratching of creatures in the gloom to guide you. Products may be kinky/spicy/adult for this event- in fact, it's preferred!

Think dark and sexy medieval times; knights, armour, chainmail and weaponry, blacksmiths, plague doctors, witches and witch hunters, gothic castles, haunted cathedrals, demons and all the ludicrous mythical beasts you find in the pages of illuminated manuscripts.

Remember it is Halloween so if you need a movie reference, think Army of Darkness. As always- we love a mix of SPOOKY and CUTE with a dash of kinky medieval dungeon!
