About the event

After the success of 'Spirit of INDIA' and 'Spirit of BOLLYWOOD', SHIAMAK  presents 'bollywood DIVAS', a dance tribute to the women of Indian Cinema.

From Madhubala to Madhuri Dixit, Parveen Babi to Priyanka Chopra, bollywood DIVAS pays tribute to all the leading ladies of Bollywood and celebrates the impact they have had in changing the perception of the nation over the last 70 years of Indian cinema's existance.

The show, on April 4th at the Birmingham Hippodrome, is performed by the SHIAMAK UK Dance Team which is comprised of amazingly talented dancers from across the greater London area and Midlands.

Packed with stunning visuals, breathtaking choreography, costumes, props and lighting design, this is an extravaganza you definitely don’t want to miss!

Singer, choreographer, performing artist Mr. Shiamak Davar (Artistic Director) is known as the “Guru of Dance” in India. He is largely responsible for modernizing India’s dance scene especially in the film and theatre industry.

With the motto Have Feet. Will Dance.™,  Shiamak Davar International is the world’s biggest dance academy enriching the lives of over a million dance enthusiasts across India, Canada, US, the UAE and the UK. Spreading the joy of dance to ages four to eighty four, his faculty teaches his original dance styles including Shiamak Style (Contemporary), Shiamak’s Bollywood Jazz ™, Hip Hop and Shiamak’s Yoga – Inner Dance Movement amongst many others.
