About the event

Blinded by Love is a fictional play based on real life events written by, Chyna S. This is her first play, and she has been working hard putting a lot of time and effort into this project.

Blinded By Love play is based on a single mother of four who is working two jobs: a Social Worker by day and an RN at night. With her working day and night to take care of her family and save up enough money to buy them a house, to move out of their bad neighborhood, she hardly has time to spend with her children. Because of lack of time and attention, she begins to lose control of her family, not seeing the abuse that is going on, and the problems that they are having.

This story highlights the struggle of a single mother, working to improve the lives of everyone in her community, while at the same time; her family is in need of improving as well.

Will she be able to come to grips and gain control over her household, or will it all fall apart?

Blinded By Love is bringing awareness to Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse, in hopes to change the lives or touch others that are going through the same thing or a similar situation.

Our target audience is, women ages: 7-45, men ages: 7-45
